Our Mission
Making Truth Accessible to Everyone
Our Core Mission
Cockroach Janta Party is an independent, free, and transparent blogs platform dedicated to making truth accessible to everyone. We believe that:
- Truth matters. In a world of misinformation, citizens deserve access to facts.
- Accountability is essential. Governments and institutions must answer to the people they serve.
- Citizen voices matter. Every person has the right to speak, complain, and demand change.
- Transparency builds trust. We operate openly, showing how content is moderated and why decisions are made.
- Freedom is fundamental. We champion constitutional rights of expression, information, and grievance.
What We Do
We provide a free platform for citizens to:
- Write & Publish Articles: Share investigative journalism, analysis, and opinions on governance and policy.
- File Complaints: Document citizen grievances about government services, corruption, and poor implementation.
- Make Demands: Articulate public calls for policy change and government accountability.
- Create Report Cards: Evaluate government performance based on verifiable data and citizen feedback.
- Aggregate Public Opinion: Collect and visualize what citizens think about policies and leaders.
Independence & Non-Affiliation
We are completely independent and explicitly NOT affiliated with:
- Any political party
- Any government or state institution
- Any corporation or commercial entity
- Any religious organization
- Any foreign government or NGO
"Cockroach Janta Party" is simply our brand name—a cheeky reference to ordinary citizens without political power. We operate as a platform for all voices, regardless of political ideology, as long as content is factual and doesn't incite violence.
Founded on Constitutional Rights
Our mission is grounded in the Indian Constitution, which guarantees:
- Article 19(1)(a): Freedom of speech and expression
- Article 19(1)(b): Freedom of assembly
- Article 21: Right to privacy and life
- Article 32 & 226: Right to constitutional remedies
- RTI Act, 2005: Right to information from government
We believe these rights are not just theoretical—they must be exercised, protected, and celebrated.
The Impact We Seek
Through this platform, we aim to:
- Enable citizens to hold governments accountable through documented evidence and public reporting
- Create a permanent, searchable record of citizen grievances and government responses
- Amplify marginalized voices that are often ignored by mainstream media
- Provide data-driven analysis of government performance for informed voting
- Build a community of informed, engaged citizens demanding better governance
- Demonstrate that transparency and accountability strengthen democracies

- Journalists: Independent journalists seeking a platform for investigative reporting
- Researchers: Academics and data analysts studying governance and policy

Our Commitment
We commit to being a platform where truth is valued over ideology, facts matter more than feelings, and the voice of ordinary citizens can be heard. We will operate with transparency, moderation with fairness, and growth with integrity. We are free because we believe information should not be gatekept. We are independent because accountability requires impartiality.
